Getting Started with the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP)

Are you a graduate ready to begin your career somewhere new or a skilled worker looking to fulfil your passion abroad? Have you always dreamed of living and working in Canada? If so, AIP might just be your solution!

The Atlantic Immigration Program is a federal immigration program that helps employers recruit both skilled workers and international graduates to meet labour needs in an area.

From either inside Canada or abroad, applicants can apply to work and live in one of the country’s four Atlantic Provinces – Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador and Prince Edward Island.

After replacing the AIPP (Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program) and accepting over 10,000+ new residents to Canada beginning in March 2022, the Atlantic Immigration Program is new to Nova Scotia. With the help of an immigration consultant, graduates or skilled workers can apply in the province of their choice by completing the necessary steps and gathering the correct documents.

Your professional immigration consultant at Maritime Immigration Consulting helps you gather all of the necessary documents for your application, minimizing the stress for you! These multiple documents include qualifying work experience, education, language, funding, and more.
