One of the goals of Canada Immigration is to facilitate family reunification for those who are interested in immigrating to Canada. If you are a Canadian Citizen or a Permanent Resident, you may be eligible to sponsor your spouse or common-law partner, dependent child, parents and grandparents.
We are proud to support the LGBTQIA2S+ community on Sponsorship applications and other temporary & permanent resident applications.
Your Significant Other can apply for a Work Permit if you submit a Sponsorship application inside Canada. If they are currently living outside Canada, a Permanent Resident visa will be issued so they can active their PR status upon arrival in Canada.
As a Permanent Resident of Canada, they will have the right to live, study and work without restrictions. Sponsored applicants are eligible to apply for Canadian Citizenship once they meet the residency requirement.
