Immigrate to Canada: Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program (AIPP)

Immigrate to Canada AIPP

The Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program is an immigration program that was developed specially to the Atlantic provinces, which is Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland and Labrador.

The biggest advantage of the AIPP is that this program is not a point system like the Express Entry. This is extremely important because age and fluency in the language are not determinant factors for those who want to immigrate to Canada.

The first step is to take an IELTS or CELPIP test and obtain a minimum of CLB 4, as well as have an ECA (Educational Credential Assessment) done for your degree or highest certificate.

You are also required to have a minimum of one year full time work experience in the past 3 years in a NOC position 0, A, B or C. You will also need a job offer from a designated company, which means that this organization is already part of the Atlantic program. This job offer must be in the same area that you have previously worked.
